century Tibetan yogi

Just As The Breeze Blows Through Moonlight
is the magical tale of a spiritual journey. It tells of
the psychological and emotional struggles of all that
hold such noble aspirations for their ordinary
human life Thupten Heruka lived in Tibet in the late
1800's. His story revolves around an historical
event at another time and another place, yet his
journey is everyone's story of ego's struggles with
love, attachment, striving and failing.

Thupten Heruka's compassion guides us like dear
friends to the highest realms of human
consciousness in a dream-like tale that will live with
each of us always.

A note from anna:
My karmic relationship to the teller of this tale is a
mystery but I am happy to share his spiritual life
journey. In the year, 1992, I received Thupten
Heruka's hagiography to translate and reveal to
others. It was hidden in a dream that appeared in
incredibly vivid detail and was presented in eight,
Tibetan style texts. The first seven were shown to
me, poured into my mind to see as I dreamed their
unfolding. The eighth volume, I was told, still awaits
discovery. I have recorded this story as closely as
possible to the presentation that I received and
hope that there is no part that will contribute to the
confusion or suffering of beings. My attempts to
translate it have been with the wish to offer to
others these teachings of Thupten Heruka as he
would have liked.

May all who read his words receive great benefit.
Together we open the cell doors of our nation's
prisons and share the hearts and minds of those
findng spiritual freedom and healing. This book
offers personal stories and excerpts from the lives
of those on and off death row, and those in the
"free world" who share their lives through the
Dharma Friends newsletter. In these
courageous and touching glimpses into the
suffering of beings and their liberation, we are
provided with inspiration and guidance to the
wholeness of us all. Perspectives are offered by
Anna before each section to help us to better
understand society's subterranean world of our
prisons, along with commentaries on the Buddhist
Dhammapada that encourages us to hold all
beings in compassion.
